How to Ship Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Check the chocolate strawberries for defects before you place them in a box.Check that the chocolate strawberries are in good shape and that they're fully hardened before packing them.
Fold a cake box into its full form. Insert the tabs into the matching grooves.
  • Line the inside of the box with waxed paper, plain or decorative paper made specifically for desserts. This will prevent the chocolate strawberries from sticking.
Place the individual strawberries inside of decorative paper cups.
Arrange the strawberries in rows inside of the cake box on top of the paper.

Add final decorative details to the strawberries. This step is optional but if you are adding decorative effects, this is the right time to do so.
Check that the box is securely formed. Tape the front and two sides of the cake box to prevent the box from opening.
Label the box as containing chocolate covered strawberries. Add a fragile label or text if wished.
Place the box into a cooler containing ice packs, or into a cooler that uses the vehicle's adaptor to keep the cooler cold. Place the box into a vehicle compartment that keeps food items cold.
